PassportLab (iten media Einzelunternehmen) commits to providing ESPR-compliant Digital Product Passport infrastructure for EU textile importers and SMEs ahead of the January 2028 mandate and the July 19, 2026 textile destruction ban, enabling compliance without internal technical teams, with free DPP generation and no approval wait. PassportLab commits to the following concrete actions in support of the EU textiles transition:

  • Maintaining a production-ready, ESPR-compliant DPP platform for textile importers, manufacturers, and private label brands, enabling compliance without requiring internal technical teams or engineering resources.
  • Aligning PassportLab's textile DPP schema with the ESPR delegated act for textiles upon its publication, expected Q3 2026, and updating the platform within 90 days of any schema change.
  • Providing free DPP generation for textile products to lower the compliance barrier for SMEs and first-time users, with no approval wait and no credit card required.
  • Supporting EU importers ahead of the July 19, 2026 textile destruction ban by making traceability and product data infrastructure accessible and operational well before the deadline.
  • Publishing annual progress updates on platform adoption, schema compliance status, and SME onboarding numbers through this platform.
