Slow Fiber pledges to promote a paradigm shift in the textile sector by supporting a production model based on the principles of “good, clean and fair”, complemented by the value of durability. Founded in 2022 following its encounter with the Slow Food movement, the Slow Fiber network brings together fashion and furnishing companies that choose to counter overproduction and overconsumption, restoring central importance to:

  • material quality,
  • respect for the environment,
  • valuing labour,
  • transparency throughout the entire supply chain.

Slow Fiber commits to ensure objective and transparent monitoring of adherence to its values through a system of KPIs validated by external auditors.
Slow Fiber commits to significantly increasing the number of companies joining the network, engaging new businesses that choose to adopt the “produce less and better” model and to measure themselves through the KPI system.
