TESS GEIE pledges to actively support innovation and help shape the role of the social and solidarity economy (SSE) in the European textile recycling value chain.
This includes identifying ethical and socially responsible recycling pathways aligned with SSE values, and supporting its members in developing and scaling (pre)recycling activities within their operations. TESS GEIE also commits to participating in EU-funded projects that explore innovative recycling technologies and strengthen the contribution of social enterprises to circular textile systems in full compliance with the waste hierarchy.
Targets by 2030: Development of a common ethical criteria framework for recycling pathways. Engagement in at least 5 EU-funded recycling-related projects.
