According to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, in May 2024, foreign travelers spent the most nights in commercial accommodation establishments, accounting for 69.2% of all nights spent in accommodation. The majority of these travelers were from Germany and Poland. This trend also extends to private and other accommodation establishments, where citizens of these countries accounted for 23.8% of the total nights spent.
