According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, 70 foreign cruise vessels made a combined 413 journeys to Croatian seaports in the first seven months of 2026, down 2.8% in vessel numbers but up 9.5% in journeys compared with the same period in 2025. Passenger numbers rose 13.8% to nearly 588,000, and vessels spent 9.4% more days in Croatian waters overall. Ships registered under the flags of Malta and the Bahamas accounted for 55% of all journeys, and Dubrovnik-Neretva and Split-Dalmatia counties together hosted 72% of journeys. Dubrovnik remained by far the most-visited seaport (305 visits), ahead of Split (184) and Zadar (121).
