In 2021, the Dodecanese region in Greece had the highest concentration of hotel rooms and bed places per 1,000 residents, with 5.0 hotels, 385.5 rooms, and 779.8 beds per 1,000 residents. Conversely, the Attica region had the lowest concentration, with 0.2 hotels, 9.2 rooms, and 17.6 beds per 1,000 residents, which is considered a more sustainable distribution of accommodation establishments.
