Poland recorded 10.0 million tourists in July and August 2026, up 2.5% year-on-year, with overnight stays growing faster still at 3.7%. The figures are flash estimates from Statistics Poland, based on partial data and subject to revision as fuller reporting comes in.

According to Statistics Poland (GUS), 10.0 million tourists stayed at tourist accommodation establishments across the country in July and August 2026, a 2.5% increase compared with the same period in 2025. Overnight stays reached 29.4 million, up 3.7%, growing faster than visitor numbers and pointing to slightly longer average stays. GUS notes that these are flash estimates compiled from partial reporting data supplemented with imputation methods, and are preliminary, subject to revision as fuller data become available.
