In 2023, Cyprus saw a record high of 6.1 million arrivals, the highest since 2008. Over 95.1% of these travelers chose air transport, with Larnaka Airport being the most popular, accounting for 65.9% of arrivals. Ports only accounted for 4.9% of arrivals, with Lemesos Port being the top choice at 4.6%. This trend mirrors pre-pandemic patterns, indicating a strong preference for specific destinations in Cyprus.
