According to recent data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, nearly 10 million nights were spent by tourists at accommodation establishments during the first four months of 2024. The majority of these nights were in hotels (59.0% of total nights) and private accommodations (15.9%). Interestingly, this trend holds true for both domestic and international tourism. Hotels and private accommodations remain the preferred types of lodging for both groups.
