In 2023, guests spent the highest number of nights in short-term accommodations offered via collaborative economy platforms, totaling 1.4 million nights. This figure surpasses the pre-pandemic level of 2019 by 6.7%, when 1.3 million nights were recorded. The peak demand in 2023 occurred in July (22.5% of the total) and August (19.0%). More detailed data is available from the National Statistical System of Latvia, which offers a free, automatically updated statistical database with options to select criteria and explore guest nights spent in short-stay accommodations from 2018 to 2023.
