The Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Slovak Republic has announced a call for applications for subsidies to support tourism in 2025. The initiative aims to foster tourism development across Slovakia’s regions, encourage collaboration among tourism organisations, and promote activities that enhance the appeal of managed areas. Grants are available for marketing and promotion, supporting tourist information centres, developing sustainable tourism products, improving infrastructure, enhancing site attractions, preparing strategic materials, and conducting educational activities. Tourism-related organisations registered in the Ministry’s Register of Tourism Organisations by December 31, 2023, are invited to apply and contribute to the growth and sustainable development of tourism in Slovakia by March 19, 2025 (The original piece available only in Slovak).
