Expedia Group, in collaboration with Wakefield Research, published a global study in February 2023 on travel adviser clients. The research aimed to explore the habits and preferences of travellers who use travel agencies, what they expect from advisers, and the factors influencing their loyalty and retention. This global study surveyed 5,000 people across ten markets - Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the UK, and the US - who had used a travel adviser for a leisure trip within the past 18 months. It includes a detailed overview of each country surveyed, highlighting key similarities and differences.
