The SUSRUR project, co-funded by the European Union and active until 31 December 2025, has made its Training Programme for Rural Tourism SMEs publicly available. Originally offered exclusively to SMEs selected through the SUSRUR Open Calls, this free webinar series is now accessible to anyone interested in sustainable tourism.

The training offers valuable insights and practical guidance from industry experts on key topics affecting rural tourism SMEs. The recorded sessions, held between 6 May and 4 June 2025, cover a broad range of subjects, including:

  • Circular economy models promoting sustainability in tourism
  • The role of local communities in the energy transition
  • Investment and funding opportunities for rural tourism SMEs
  • Digital transformation: challenges and opportunities in rural and remote areas
  • The connection between the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and rural tourism
