The RESTORE Online Learning Hub brings together two Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and complementary digital learning resources developed within the framework of the RESTORE – Empowering Tourism SMEs to Become Regenerative Businesses for Combating Overtourism project.

The learning resources are structured around two complementary courses addressing interconnected target groups: the Train-the-Trainers MOOC for HR Professionals and Adult Trainers who support tourism micro and small enterprises, and the Training Course for Entrepreneurs and Professionals of Micro & Small Enterprises in the Tourism Sector, for entrepreneurs and professionals working within them.

Through these two learning pathways, users can strengthen their knowledge and competences in areas related to overtourism, sustainability, Net Positive and regenerative business development, while also exploring practical approaches, frameworks and tools that can support the transformation of tourism businesses.

The courses are available free of charge in English, Greek and Portuguese through the RESTORE Online Learning Hub, which has been designed in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to support inclusive access, while the learning materials are provided as Open Educational Resources (OER) under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence.

Both courses support self-paced online learning and are complemented by their own Digital Library, containing additional reports, frameworks, practical tools, guides, case studies and other resources for further exploration. The Hub also provides a virtual community space that supports interaction, dialogue and collaborative learning between participants and instructors. Learners who successfully complete the respective course requirements receive a Certificate of Successful Completion.

The content of the two learning pathways is structured as follows.

The RESTORE Online Learning Hub was developed within the framework of the RESTORE – Empowering Tourism SMEs to Become Regenerative Businesses for Combating Overtourism project co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ KA210-ADU – Small-scale Partnerships in Adult Education programme (Project No.: 2024-2-PT01-KA210-ADU-000291295).
