Fáilte Ireland launched the important "Minimising food waste" campaign in 2022, concentrating on the Irish food service industry. Eight to ten percent of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide are caused by food waste. Over 150,000 tonnes of food are wasted annually in Ireland alone by the food service sector. Businesses may optimise cost efficiency and minimise carbon emissions by embracing sustainable practices and using inventive culinary techniques. In order to reduce food waste, seasoned chef Niall Hill offers mouthwatering recipes and helpful guidance. Maintaining the environment and maintaining economic viability require this effort.
