Train services between the UK and Europe are expected to grow, driven by financial incentives from London St Pancras Highspeed, which could lower prices, increase customer numbers, and reduce the carbon footprint of trans-European travel compared to aviation.

According to Travel Tomorrow, train services between the UK and Europe are expected to grow due to substantial financial incentives from London St Pancras Highspeed (LSPH). The rail and station owner-operator will introduce a three-year scheme aimed at expanding services for companies planning new cross-Channel Tunnel routes. This initiative will allow operators to enhance their services, broaden their network of destinations, and invest in new rolling stock.

For more information on this opportunity, which could lower prices, attract more customers to rail travel, and reduce the carbon footprint of trans-European travel by up to 96% compared to aviation, thereby supporting national emissions reduction targets, follow the attached link.
