The Catalan Tourist Board and the Directorate for Tourism of the Catalan Government have unveiled the Grand Tour of Catalonia initiative, designed to foster sustainable, responsible, and regenerative tourism across the region. This ambitious project aims to highlight local culture and products while minimizing environmental impact by encouraging travel with electric vehicles and public transport. The Grand Tour will be accessible by electric car with fast charging points located every 30 kilometers by 2027, making eco-friendly exploration convenient for all. Targeting 2,000 annual users, this journey invites tourists to embrace freedom and discovery through greener travel, ensuring the beauty of Catalonia is preserved for future generations.
