According to POLIS, EMT Madrid, the City of Madrid's public urban transport management company, achieved a new passenger record in 2024. The company transported nearly 476 million passengers across its 229 municipal bus lines, marking a 4.71% increase from 2023. As EMT Madrid celebrates this milestone, it remains dedicated to improving sustainable and efficient mobility for the city's residents. Plans for 2025 include further electrification of the bus fleet and expansion of the Bicimad electric bike network.
