Ungheni is home to many tourist attractions that remain largely unexplored by locals and, as a result, are unknown to foreign visitors. To address this, Ungheni, Moldova launched an initiative that was recognised by the Interreg Europe programme as a good practice. This initiative has led to a significant rise in the number of visitors, attracting tourists from over 20 countries.
