This initiative, signed on 20 February 2025, aims to eliminate holiday rentals that operate outside legal boundaries and ensure compliance with local regulations. Airbnb will remove non-compliant listings and require hosts to provide valid registration numbers, while the Ibiza Council will increase inspections and enforcement efforts.
