The decree sets 165,850 entries for 2027, of which 89,000 are for seasonal employment, with the tourism and agriculture sectors treated separately. Applications are pre-filled on the Interior Ministry’s portal, including through trade associations and authorised professionals, using the “C-Stag turistico” model for the tourism sector, and can then be submitted on the relevant click day, 9 February 2027 for seasonal tourism work, until 31 December 2027 and subject to quota availability. A joint circular of 1 October 2026, signed by the Interior, Labour, Agriculture and Tourism ministries, gives the operational guidance.

The source does not break down how many seasonal places are reserved for tourism. For hotels, restaurants and other seasonal employers, the publication of dates well ahead of the summer season gives time to plan recruitment, in a sector where staff shortages are a recurring constraint.
