Hosteltur reports that Spanish ski resorts have made a record investment of 75 million euros in modernising and improving their infrastructure for the 2023-2024 season, surpassing the 74.1 million euros invested in the previous period. However, according to the Association of Ski and Mountain Resorts of Spain (ATUDEM), the 2023/2024 season saw a 14.27% decrease in visitors compared to the previous season, which ATUDEM attributes to the lack of snow during the central months of the season.
