In a voluntary address to the Industry and Tourism Committee of the Spanish Congress, Secretary of State for Tourism Rosario Sánchez revealed progress on Spain's Tourism Strategy 2030, with 45% of its initiatives already underway. This strategy, established in October 2025, emphasizes fostering a harmonious relationship between tourists and residents, ensuring that Spain remains an exceptional place to both visit and live.

Focused on social, economic, and environmental sustainability, the plan reshapes tourism by enhancing quality of life, worker conditions, and territorial preservation. The comprehensive approach, involving collaboration across the whole Spanish government and over 300 entities, aims to position Spain at the forefront of sustainable, innovative tourism. This shift promises to deliver more value, innovation, and equitable benefits across the sector. T
