"EcoMobS” (Ecosystem for Sustainable Mobility) [ www.ecomobs.servizirl.it/ecomobs/home ] is a strategic initiative by the Regional Government of Lombardy to support data-driven decision making by local Public Administration on sustainable mobility, especially on alternative fuels and electric mobility. The initiative is powered by E015, the institutional Data Space of Lombardy Region [ www.e015.regione.lombardia.it/site/app-detail?id=182 ]: Charge Point Operators are invited to create a REST API to communicate real-time information, and the same APIs, thanks to E015 Data Space processes and legal framework, could be requested by other players to create innovative services on electric mobility. Data sharing is promoted even including a “Digital First” request within public tenders: the beneficiaries of public fundings for electric mobility must have created in E015 a REST API to share real-time information about the electric infrastructure managed. Main Italian Charge Point Operators are taking part to the initiative: Enel X Way, A2A, Be Charge Plenitude, Duferco, Evway…

The main goals are the adoption of EcoMobS powered by E015 in other sustainable mobility sectors (hydrogen, biogas, sharing mobility…) by the end of 2025 and the development of innovative touristic services (for example integration of intermodal public mobility with private sustainable mobility, or integration of touristic information within e-mobility mobile apps), with a specific focus on the upcoming Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games. EcoMobS powered by E015 is going to be proposed even as a multi-years Best Practice for the development of the European Mobility Data Space and for Alternative Fuels National Access Points, according to the opportunities of synergy and dissemination coming from the development of the other Data Space initiatives.
