The Inclusive Centres of Culture – Collaborative and Inclusive Cultural Tourism Through Nordic Cooperation (ICCE) project, funded by the Interreg Aurora programme, aims to enhance the cultural and tourism appeal of the Aurora region by transforming cultural centres into inclusive, vibrant hubs that engage both locals and visitors. Coordinated by Lapland University of Applied Sciences, it focuses on accessibility, inclusivity, and collaboration between the cultural and tourism sectors, with activities including baseline studies, design workshops, pilot initiatives, symposiums, and podcasts. Running from November 2024 to December 2026, ICCE project contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals by promoting socially, ecologically, and economically sustainable development.
