The Directorate General for Enterprise (Direction Générale des Entreprises, DGE) in France has announced the third edition of the "France Tourisme Tech" support programme, inviting start-ups, micro-enterprises, and SMEs to apply. This initiative is designed to foster the growth of companies with travel tech potential by supporting the development of innovative solutions for the tourism sector—such as enhancing the travel experience and improving the management of tourist flows.

The programme offers support in open innovation, international expansion, and mentoring, with the broader goals of:

  • Encouraging the emergence of sovereign technological solutions
  • Promoting innovation across a highly fragmented sector
  • Stimulating private investment

Applicants must:

  • Be based in France
  • Be a start-up, micro-enterprise, or SME aiming to diversify into or operate within tourism-related segments (e.g., accommodation, catering, travel, transport, leisure, sport, nature, culture, events, wellness, or business tourism)
  • Integrate emerging technologies into their business model

Programme duration:

The support programme will run from October 2025 to October 2026 and will include four main types of actions:

  • Open Innovation: Learning expeditions, webinars for professional networks and organisations, company visits with major partner groups
  • Advisory Services: Partner matchmaking, testing opportunities, regulatory support, funding guidance (French and EU), and quarterly individual follow-ups
  • Valorisation: Activities to highlight and promote selected projects
  • Public Procurement: Support for accessing public sector opportunities

Applications must be submitted by 21 September 2025 (The original piece available only in French).
