CoordinaTEF acts as the coordination and enabling body for the EU's four sector-specific Testing and Experimentation Facilities - TEF-Health, AI-MATTERS (manufacturing, covered separately above), AgrifoodTEF and CitCom.AI - ensuring they operate within a coherent, collaborative framework rather than as four disconnected initiatives.

For a manufacturer, CoordinaTEF is the practical single point of contact for understanding how the manufacturing-focused AI-MATTERS facility relates to the other three TEFs and to the parallel network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) - useful when a company's technology genuinely spans sectors (for example, AI-driven quality inspection equipment with both manufacturing and healthcare applications) and would otherwise need to navigate multiple separate facility websites and application processes independently.
