The EU CAP Network is organising a brokerage event in Brussels on 5 and 6 November 2026 to support the development of new Horizon Europe collaborations for agriculture, forestry, and rural areas. The event, titled “From practice to impact: building Horizon Europe collaborations for agriculture and rural areas,” will focus on networking, project idea development, and partnership building around upcoming priorities in the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 Work Programme and Mission Soil for 2027.

Participants will have the opportunity to connect with others working on similar challenges, present short project teasers, and explore possible partnerships for future proposals. The event will focus on topics requiring a multi-actor approach, including agrobiodiversity, sustainable farming practices, resilience and competitiveness in farming systems, climate-smart and clean farming, innovation through Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems, and healthy soils.

The brokerage event will bring together farmers, rural community representatives, advisors, innovation brokers, researchers, Operational Groups, rural entrepreneurs, funding organisations, and networks from across Europe. It will place particular emphasis on the role of EIP-AGRI Operational Groups in linking practical experience with research. A call for expression of interest is open until Friday 14 August 2026 at 23:59 CET.
