The Urban Agenda for the EU’s Food Partnership will hold a public webinar on 9 September 2026 to explore how national and regional frameworks can better support local food policies. The discussion will cover the role of funding, food observatories and advisory services in helping local initiatives develop beyond individual municipalities.

Speakers will include EUI expert Roxana Maria Triboi and Alessandra Manganelli from Cities4Food at the University of Barcelona, together with national and regional stakeholders.

The webinar will present emerging findings on the conditions that can help local food policies become more established and better connected to wider governance and support structures. Participants will be invited to provide feedback that will contribute to the final Action 2 report.
