In the "Food Waste Reduction" category, the award went to the Caddy workshop run by Stëmm vun der Strooss, a non-profit supporting people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable individuals, which redistributes surplus food while supporting social inclusion. In the "Regional and Seasonal Sourcing" category, the prize went to ECOFFEE, for a local coffee alternative made from lupin beans grown in Luxembourg.

The award, launched on World Food Day, is open to public, private and non-profit catering establishments of any size, and the collected practices will feed into a joint good-practice guide published by the Ministry and IMS Luxembourg to encourage wider adoption across the sector.
