Participants spend eight to ten weeks immersed in agricultural environments, including farms, food processing companies and Teagasc locations, working to identify unmet needs in the sector before developing market-validated solutions. The approach is built around needs-led innovation, pairing entrepreneurial training with a Graduate Diploma in Agrifood Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Three start-ups from the programme's first cohort, Agriwave, BiCO and Mehal, have since secured a combined €1.9 million in commercialisation funding from Enterprise Ireland, pointing to a working pathway from immersive training to investable ventures in the agri-food sector.
