Sessions organised by the Styrian Business Promotion Agency brought together public authorities, procurers and food businesses to explore how data management, incentive systems and harmonised evaluation criteria could support regional food sourcing in public tenders, alongside dedicated roundtables on regional value chains and risk management criteria for sustainable food initiatives.

The work feeds into the project's broader Transnational Action Plans and jointly developed circular criteria sets, covering manufacturing, construction, tourism and agri-food, due to guide public procurers and companies across Central Europe as the €2.09 million project, co-funded at 80% through the European Regional Development Fund, moves toward its conclusion in November 2026
