Primary Food Processors (PFP) endorsed the EU Code of Conduct on responsible business and marketing practices in 2021, committing to climate neutrality, resource efficiency, and enhanced competitiveness. To drive this commitment, last year PFP actively shared information with its members and leveraged an expert group to address key decarbonisation and energy needs. The association also organised targeted technical workshops on critical regulations like the EU ETS and the revised industrial emissions directive, and shared expertise on the Carbon Removal Certification Framework (CRCF). Finally, PFP consistently engaged with broader supply chain alliances, coalitions, and policymaking forums to foster cross-sector collaboration and joint policy approaches.
