The Tourism Advisory Board was established in October 2020, following the successful roundtable format during the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, Ministry of Culture, the Tourism Board, and various private tourism stakeholders. Meeting twice a year, the board fosters public-private collaboration, advancing open communication and partnerships. Key impacts include stronger cooperation, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and continuous improvement in response to market trends. The private sector's involvement is crucial for effective tourism policy-making, economic growth, and crisis recovery efforts.

The board is composed of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, Ministry of Culture, Tourism Board, professional tourism associations, destinations, and major gateways.
