The Riga Motor Museum in Latvia, under the guidance of the ECTN, embarked on an innovative journey of digitalization and cultural resource enhancement. After a large-scale reconstruction in July 2016, the museum expanded its exposition space, creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for visitors while preserving its historical architecture and unique atmosphere. The centerpiece of this transformation was the creation of an entirely new and interactive museum exposition, seamlessly integrating multimedia solutions. The reconstruction aimed to attract a diverse audience, including people of all ages and families, encouraging repeat visits. Notably, within a year after the reconstruction, nearly 200,000 people visited the museum—triple the pre-reconstruction numbers from 2012.
