Cultural Heritage Management (CHM), led by the University of Nicosia, plays a crucial role in addressing challenges faced by museums. It ensures their sustainable competitiveness, resilience to climate change, natural hazards, and pandemic risks. This best practice emphasizes the cultural heritage sector’s needs, challenges, and opportunities. Its importance lies in safeguarding cultural values for present and future generations, promoting sustainability practices, enhancing museum operations, and ensuring relevance to society. The project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 program, operates in Nicosia, Cyprus from March 1, 2021, to February 29, 2024.
