The European Commission highlights its project on crisis management and governance in tourism, funded by the Single Market Programme, aiming to bolster the resilience of the EU tourism sector by enhancing governance and crisis management mechanisms. The project involved analysing governance models, providing advisory services to destinations, and developing best practices and learning materials. Key achievements include a detailed final report, eLearning modules and promotional tools, all designed to improve crisis response and resilience across the tourism ecosystem.
