The European Industrial Heritage 2020 and Beyond project, funded by the EU under the Creative Europe programme, aimed to raise awareness and appreciation of Europe’s industrial heritage by transforming it into a mainstream cultural and tourism product. Recognizing the need to engage younger generations and address current challenges in the sector, the project focused on audience development, knowledge transfer, and innovative management models. By fostering digitization and promoting cooperation among cultural organizations, it sought to celebrate and safeguard industrial heritage. The project commenced on 1 December 2020 and concluded on 30 November 2021, successfully covering various activities across multiple countries.
