The German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection highlights the winners of the 2022/2023 Federal Competition for Sustainable Tourism Destinations. The Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve won in the "advanced" category, while Oberstdorf and Vorpommern were joint winners in the "starter" category. The competition recognises destinations committed to environmentally and socially responsible tourism, promoting sustainable practices across Germany.
