Eurac Research's interdisciplinary research team created the scientific basis for the South Tyrol provincial tourist development plan under the banner "Ambition Habitat South Tyrol - On the Way to a New Tourism Culture". Conducted from March 2021 to February 2022, the project aimed to outline sustainable and balanced tourism policies. By integrating spatial planning regulations and local governance, it provided a standardized, data-driven basis for measuring, monitoring, and controlling tourism development.
