The case study of Casa Lata, an agrotourism enterprise in Amares, Braga, Portugal, is included in the STAY project, which has been co-funded by the European Union since 2022. It showcases the main home, which has 14 beds, and a separate house that can host up to 36 visitors. Under the direction of José Costa and his daughter Margarida, the company incorporates the Vinho Verde wine production. The property was transformed to honour and preserve the Pereira Lata family's heritage, with the project starting in 1999 and ending in 2014. Among the facilities provided by Casa Lata are a private pool, common areas, and a winery. They had 3,006 overnight guests and 1,282 guests in 2022.  The goal of future plans is to increase wine tourism, particularly in the off-season.
