Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1310 (28 Aug 2026) supplements Regulation (EU) 2024/3110, setting out assessment and verification systems for construction products' constancy of performance. The act represents a key implementing step in the transition towards the modernized EU framework for construction products.
Discussions on the new rules focus on how the performance and conformity of construction products are to be assessed and verified before being placed on the EU market, in line with the level of scrutiny required for each product family. By defining these systems, the act strengthens legal clarity and consistency for manufacturers, notified bodies and authorities, supporting a safer, more harmonized and more transparent single market for construction products.
