This year's edition takes place as fires across Europe have highlighted a rapidly growing climate-driven fire risk, particularly where built-up areas meet wildland. Building on last year's theme, "Let's make every European home fire safe", the event continues the Alliance's commitment to ensuring that every citizen can live in a home that is affordable, energy-efficient and safe by design.  It will bring together policymakers, fire safety professionals, researchers, industry representatives and civil-society organizations.

The webinar programme, updated with new speakers and additional lectures, will address fire safety in modern homes, European standardisation of inspections, electrification and building renovation, harmonised fire statistics and smoke alarm action across Europe. On Wednesday, 18 November, an expert seminar in Brussels will explore how fire safety can keep pace with emerging technologies, evolving regulations and changing societal expectations. Places at the seminar are limited and participation is subject to confirmation. Registration is available here.
