The new CPR delegated regulations establish a common framework for assessing and declaring the fire performance of construction products across the European Union. The framework applies to a range of products and systems, including structural elements, façades, fire doors, ventilation ducts and smoke control systems.
By maintaining the existing fire classification structure, the regulations provide a harmonised basis for performance declarations and support the consistent application of fire safety requirements across the construction sector.
