Two important calls under the LIFE 2025 Clean Energy Transition sub-programme opened on 24 April 2025, with a submission deadline of 23 September 2025 at 17:00 CEST. 

 

  • LIFE-2025-CET-BETTERRENO 
    This call supports the market uptake of innovative solutions for faster, deeper, smarter, and more affordable energy renovations in buildings. Projects should demonstrate scalable and replicable approaches, integrating digitalisation, innovative business models, financing mechanisms, and citizen engagement to accelerate energy renovation and improve the overall building stock performance across the EU.

  • LIFE-2025-CET-OSS 
    This call aims to support the establishment or expansion of one-stop shops (OSS) that provide integrated services for building renovation. These OSS should offer tailored support (technical, legal, financial, and organisational) to homeowners, SMEs, or public authorities, helping them implement energy efficiency and renewable energy projects effectively and confidently.

Both calls follow a single-stage application process and are funded under the LIFE programme, with a co-funding rate of up to 95 %. Proposals must be submitted via the European Commission’s Funding & Tenders Portal.
