The National Research, Development and Innovation Fund has launched a funding call to support the protection and utilisation of intellectual property. The programme helps applicants obtain domestic and international protection for patents, trade marks, designs, utility models and other forms of industrial property.

The National Research, Development and Innovation Fund has announced a new funding call to support intellectual property protection activities in Hungary and internationally. The programme covers a range of industrial property rights, including patents, utility models, plant varieties, trade marks and designs, while also encouraging the effective utilisation of protected intellectual creations.

With a total budget of HUF 500 million, the call provides financial support for activities such as Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications, European patent validation, European Union trade marks and international trade mark applications. Eligible projects may run for up to 18 months, with applications accepted until 30 October 2026.
