The PSLF is a key instrument under the Just Transition Mechanism. It supports the regions most affected by the transition to climate neutrality and helps them address its social, economic and environmental impacts. The Facility combines loans from the https://www.eib.org/ of approximately €6-8 billion with up to €1.1 billion in grants from the European Commission. It mainly supports public sector entities that carry out projects identified in Territorial Just Transition Plans.
The call is open to all EU Member States on a competitive basis, with no pre-allocated national envelopes. More information on the available budget will be provided closer to the submission deadline.
