The sixth edition of the European Responsible Housing Awards is now open for applications. Organised by Housing Europe, the International Union for Tenants (IUT) and DELPHIS, with support from the European Commission, the awards showcase initiatives that place residents and the public interest at the centre of housing development and management. The competition seeks projects that deliver measurable improvements in housing affordability, environmental performance, social sustainability and community engagement. According to the organisers, successful projects should demonstrate practical solutions that improve access to affordable housing, reduce environmental impacts, strengthen neighbourhood resilience, promote tenant participation, and support inclusive communities. Applications are open until 31 December 2026.
