The Built4People website introduces STAR*track (Support and Networks to Accelerate the Construction and Renovation Innovation track to market) as a three-year Coordination and Support Action funded under Horizon Europe within the Built4People partnership. The project builds on work started by the Nebula project and focuses on expanding the Built4People Innovation Cluster (B4PIC) Network and helping clusters and their members deliver people-centric, sustainable innovation for the built environment.

STAR*track defines several objectives: integrating new B4PICs to reach the 2028 target of 10–15 mature clusters, creating enabling conditions and tools for innovation, facilitating access to funding and green public procurement, and supporting replication of services. Project activities include tailored support for SMEs, ICT tools, guidance on RDI projects and links to European Open Innovation Testbeds for building envelopes. The project is coordinated by NOBATEK/INEF4 and involves European associations, regional clusters, research organisations and SMEs.
