According to statistics, the average length of stays at tourist accommodations in EU destinations increased from 2.9 days in 2019 to 3.0 days in 2022, with Ireland, Croatia, and Cyprus having the highest average stays around 5.1 days.

Based on data from the EU Tourism Dashboard, the average length of stays at tourist accommodation establishments in EU destinations increased from 2.9 days in 2019 to 3.0 days in 2022. Notably, Ireland, Croatia, and Cyprus had the highest average stays, each around 5.1 days, potentially contributing to increased tourism expenditure and local economic growth. Conversely, Iceland, Latvia, Estonia, and some other EU countries had lower average stays, indicating less preference for these destinations compared to countries with higher stay durations.
